Bundle includes 14 readiness posters/anchor charts with material taken straight from each readiness standard: content and context students will need to know for the STAAR test. These posters can be used in many ways. Here are some suggestions that they have been successful as:
1. Gallery Walk
Place posters around the room or in the hallway and have students walk around with a note-taking sheet to write down anything they didn’t remember about the given topic. Put students in groups or pairs to compare what they write.
2. Anchor Charts
Have posters blown up and place around the room as a means to review as you go. Have each class add what they remember that isn’t included.
3. Notebook Review
Print posters out 4 or 6 to a page and have students tape them in their interactive notebooks.
4. Team Brainstorm
Each pair starts with one poster and they get passed around the room as partners add ONE comment to the page that isn’t included or that will help others remember the concept.
